NATIONAL TEQUILA  DAY

This drink is strong and potent. You can’t drink too many before you really feel its effects. It is made from the distilled sap of the succulent Blue Agave plant. Agave plants can be grown in any hot, arid area. By Mexican law, Tequila can only be made from the Blue Agave plant grown specifically in and around Tequila, Mexico, and a few select areas nearby. To meet the demand for this liquor, over 300 million plants are harvested a year!
