National quilting day

Today is a day to recognize and appreciate the quiltmakers, the skill, and the warm results. If you are a quiltmaker, spend a minute to recognize and appreciate that you have truly been blessed with a special skill. If you are not a quilt maker, wrap yourself into a quilt and enjoy the warmth.

There are an estimated 7 to 10 million quilters. While most are women according to a joint study by Quilting in America and Quilts, Inc., about 1% are men.
