Festival of Smoke and Mirrors

 The term “smoke and mirrors” means something is not really as it appears to be. It’s a deception or something that does not even exist. A magician will often make something appear or disappear out of thin air. People often put up smoke and mirrors to hide something.

Many of us will use any excuse to have a party or festival, so why not hold a Festival of Smoke and Mirrors? We were surprised that we did not discover several actual festivals of this nature. We only found one, and that was in England in 2010. But, who needs historical facts to have fun on a special day? Let’s get out and enjoy Smoke and Mirrors Day to the fullest.
